Olivia's Tough Girl Impersonation

Recently, I asked Liv if she was a tough girl and she gave me this facial expression. It has now become her signature move.

Fe Fi Fo Fum

Olivia and Andrew enjoy stomping around the house in their Daddy's shoes. Give them a pair of shoes and they can be entertained for a good half an hour..... who needs toys?!

Getting Ready For Church

Andrew and Olivia are officially in nursery now. Mom and Dad are very excited that they get to go learn songs, play with their friends and lets face it give Mom and Dad a small break from running after them at church!

Olivia Is Walking!

Today, Olivia decided she was ready to start walking and well when she decides to do something she does not mess around! We went from 5-6 steps to walking all around the kitchen, living room and down the hallway. My exercise regiment has now officially been increased, running after these two all stars!

Olivia's First Hair Cut

Olivia's hair was in her eyes so we thought a hair cut was in order. Initially, we tried cutting it ourselves and it turned into a mullet. Needless to say the next day we took her to Great Clips. I think her new do is adorable!

First Taste of Ice Cream

Last week Andrew and Olivia had there first taste of ice cream. They were not too sure about how cold it was but I have a feeling they will get over it pretty quickly!

Andrew is Walking!

Now I have been told that we are not given what we cannot handle. So last week Andrew decided that I was ready for him to start walking, he had waited on me long enough! He has also decided to give Olivia ideas as she is taking two to three steps on her own as well. I am sure next week there will be a follow up video of her new found skill with myself in the background looking on with happiness and fear!

Making Grandma Day Cards

We decided to be brave and try our hand at painting for our Grandma's. We were very proud of our end product!

I'll do it myself

Olivia got tired of waiting for Mom and Dad to do things for her, so she's decided she'll just do it herself. Here she is clipping her own toe nails.

Hiking

Last week we went on a small hiking excursion. Dave stated that the path would be an easy incline which I was grateful for since I have not exercised in approximately two years. The trail ended up being a 5% grade, which is not that bad but with 50 lbs. on your back we were feeling it! I have now decided that a regular exercise regiment is in order. We had a great time and the kiddos enjoyed the great outdoors with Lake Coeur de Alene as the back drop.
