Playing In The Snow!

Andrew and Olivia enjoying the first snow fall of the season. Actually, Andrew did not know if he liked the cold, wet substance falling on his face but towards the end he wanted to throw snowballs while Olivia wanted to catch the snow.

Trip To Hawaii Continued

While we were touring the island of Kaui we came upon a plantation called Tara. The plantation is owned by the producer who filmed 7 days and 7 nights with Harrison Ford on the island. He liked the area so much he purchased 721 acres of land that he calls Tara I had to step out and get my picture taken. There are also some picutres of our stay on Oahu at the polynisian culture center, pearl harbor and the first picture is the view from our hotel room. Thank you Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jim for watching the kiddos! We are truly blessed to be able to call you our mom, dad, grandparents and in-laws!

Trip To Hawaii

Dave surprised me on my birthday last year with ticket to Hawaii! We took the vacation early this month and had a fantastic time. Here are some pictures of our stay on Kaui. What a beautiful place! The photos that look like the Grand Canyon is a place called Waimea Valley (taken from our helicopter tour) and the ones seen from the boat are of the Na Pali Coast a stretch of the island that can only be seen by air or by sea.

Picking Out Pumpkins

We had a great time picking out pumpkins at Green Bluff. Last year we went on the weekend and it seemed the whole population of Spokane was there. This year Dave thought it would be worth it for him to take a half day off. I am grateful he did because not only did we see a lot less people we also got to have a fun afternoon with Dad.

Names

For future remembrance I thought I would put down how Andrew and Liv state each others names.
Andrew calls Olivia: bivvy - bivvy (he has to say it twice)
Olivia calls Andrew: dew (she always sticks her lips out for emphasis)

Sharing

Sharing.... the word that is 90% of my vocabulary lately. Andrew and Liv have been working on the concept of sharing and some days are better than others. Here they are on one of those better days sharing their pine cones at Grandma and Grandpa Divine's cabin.

"Lovies"

Andrew and Olivia like to give hugs or here at the Divine household, "lovies." I enjoy seeing them chase each other and then give one another a big hug, it makes the daily battles well worth it!

Andrews First Haircut

Andrew loved getting his haircut! He kept smiling at Dave saying, "more!" wanting Dave to continue using the clippers.

Say Cheese!

Andrew loves the camera. Anytime he sees anything that resembles a camera he gives us this signature move. I wonder if we will be able to get a picture with his eyes open anytime soon?!

Olivia's Tough Girl Impersonation

Recently, I asked Liv if she was a tough girl and she gave me this facial expression. It has now become her signature move.
