Ian Loosli Divine

5lbs 11oz (same size Andrew was when he was born)

Andrew singing, "Miss Murphys Chowder," as a bedtime song to Ian. This video clip brings tears to my eyes.

Drew and Liv Turn 4!

The best birthday present by far that Drew and Liv received was their baby brother, Ian!

Back in September Drew and Liv attended a friends birthday party. After the party they let me know that they wanted white cake for their birthday with bluberries in the shape of an A for Andrew and strawberries in the shape of an O for Olivia with whipping cream on top, of course! It made me laugh at how specific they were:) Four months later they did not waver. Here they are with their cakes.

Having Fun Drawing

Liv's picture of the family (can you guess who is who?!)
Drew's picture of a mama lobster and a baby lobster
I love watching them draw and then tell me the story that goes with the picture. I might be a little biased but I think they have a little artistic flare!

Christmas 2011

Drew and Liv picked out the Christmas tree this year and did a great job decorating it. They were very proud of the results!
(Having difficulty uploading the Christmas morning video. Hopefully, it will cooperate soon so that we can share the kiddos enthusiasm of that day:))

Skiing at Schwietzer

Back in May the kiddos asked me if they could go skiing for their birthday. I replied, "Yes," not realizing that I would be 9 months pregnant. So in an effort to honor my word we took the kids to Schwietzer this past weekend. They had an amazing time making french fries to go and pizza to slow with their skis:) Here they are with their instructors Miss Suzy and Miss Linda.

Please enjoy the videos of the kiddos getting off the magic carpet all by themselves. I was so proud! I believe they will be better skiers than be by the time they are 5!

Thanksgiving Preschool Party

Andrew and Olivia enjoyed their Thanksgiving preschool party. They especially enjoyed eating the little smokies!

Yes, that is Liv enthusiastically, "Shaking her bushy tail," while singing, Gray Squirrel!

Halloween

This year the kiddos dressed up as farmers. I tried to find Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes in their size but was unsuccessful. In retrospect it was probably best we went the farmer route as they can use their "costumes" throughout the year instead of only once:)
Drew and Liv enjoyed trick or treating and taking part in the preschool harvest party! Their favorite activity at the party was creating vegetable potato heads.

Fall Gymnastics

Drew and Liv started gymnastics today and had a ball climbing, jumping, twirling just being the monkeys I already know they are! On a side note I don't know if I am going to be able to get Liv out of her leo:)

Summer Vacation to San Diego

Playing in the Ocean:
Drew loved the ocean immediately! He wanted to make sand castles, play in the water and could have stayed there all day.
Liv took a little bit of time to warm up to the sand, waves, etc. However, towards the end she loved running away from the waves as Dave chased her!

Safari Park:
Drew and Liv loved the elephants the best at the park. I think it was because while they were "talking" to the elephant he responded with a very loud trumpet! They also enjoyed their ice cream and being our "tour guides."

Sea World:
Drew loves Orca whales and he could hardly contain himself during the Shamu Show! I have to say this pregnant mama got a little emotional as I witnessed her childs pure joy!
Liv enjoyed feeding and petting the dolphin named Tobie.
We had an amazing week in San Diego!
