Halloween

This year the kiddos dressed up as farmers. I tried to find Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes in their size but was unsuccessful. In retrospect it was probably best we went the farmer route as they can use their "costumes" throughout the year instead of only once:)

Drew and Liv enjoyed trick or treating and taking part in the preschool harvest party! Their favorite activity at the party was creating vegetable potato heads.

We have been enjoying the fall weather and are looking forward to our preschool harvest party and Halloween!

Fall Gymnastics

Drew and Liv started gymnastics today and had a ball climbing, jumping, twirling just being the monkeys I already know they are! On a side note I don't know if I am going to be able to get Liv out of her leo:)

Summer Vacation to San Diego

Playing in the Ocean:

Drew loved the ocean immediately! He wanted to make sand castles, play in the water and could have stayed there all day.

Liv took a little bit of time to warm up to the sand, waves, etc. However, towards the end she loved running away from the waves as Dave chased her!

Safari Park:

Drew and Liv loved the elephants the best at the park. I think it was because while they were "talking" to the elephant he responded with a very loud trumpet! They also enjoyed their ice cream and being our "tour guides."

Sea World:

Drew loves Orca whales and he could hardly contain himself during the Shamu Show! I have to say this pregnant mama got a little emotional as I witnessed her childs pure joy!

Liv enjoyed feeding and petting the dolphin named Tobie.

We had an amazing week in San Diego!

First Day of Preschool

On September 13, Drew and Liv started preschool! They were excited to meet their teacher Mrs. Moore so much so that Drew insisted on drawing her a picture. I was relieved to be able to introduce them to their teacher get them familiar with the classroom and then say mama will see you in a little bit and have no tears or worries from both of them as they gave me a hug and said, "Love you mama, see you later!"

Mutton Busting

We took the kids to the fair and as a joke Dave asked them if they would like to ride a sheep. Liv with much excitement said she would. After watching the other kids fall off the sheep I said, "Liv are you sure you want to ride?" She responded wholeheartedly, "Yes!" I have to say we have one little spitfire of a girl!

New Addition

Dave and I are excited to announce that a new addition is coming to our family in January. This

little one also thought January 11 would be a good day to have a birthday. Drew and Liv are excited to get a new brother or sister as their present for their 4th birthday!

Ski Vacation With Friends

We had a wonderful time skiing with friends at Schwitzer Mountain this weekend! It was an entertaining weekend filled with skiing, storytimes, playtime and with four 3 year olds and a 14 month old an occasional tantrum:) We are already looking forward to next year!

Celebrating the Big 3!

For the kiddos birthday we went up to Schwitzer Resort in Sandpoint, ID. Drew and Liv loved skiing and the only time there was sadness was when we told them we had to go. I think there are many ski days in their future! Happy Birthday to my entertaining, loving, all around silly babes!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we enjoyed a nice dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Divine. Grammie and PaPa Wayne were unable to come because Grammie had a no good, very bad, evil cold and was ordered to stay home by her Dr. We missed you Idaho Grandma and Grandpa!

Two weeks ago I was talking with the kiddos about Christmas and how it is a celebration of Jesus' birth. Liv felt that since we were celebrating His birthday we should make Him cupcakes. I thought that was a wonderful idea. I think this will be a new tradition in our home. Please enjoy the video clip of the kiddos singing Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus.
